This is the second such sight I've bought. I've mounted them on shotguns. They can withstand the heavy recoil that results from shooting slugs in my guns. They are also very low profile, with the red dot only slightly higher than the sighting plane over a ventilated rib.
Pros:
- Compact, sturdy, low profile.

Mounted it, took it two days later to the range. Didn't turn on even after switching batteries. Figured I'd give it a try, paid for the lesson. Do not purchase this. They tell me to wright more, don't know what else to put here but that the optic is trash.

Black coating in housing started chipping immediately. Ok beginner optic but honestly, I recommend saving up a few more bucks up and buy a Holosun or Sig. But if your budget is maxed out and this is your only choice, the optic will get the job done.

I used this on a handgun which was a nice addition. While having my arms locked out in front, this M-Spec was the perfect missing piece I needed. It helped me to aim properly and keep my eye on the target.

I purchased this sight as a backup and for short-range engagement using a 45-degree offset mount. I also have astigmatism which makes the use of red dots impossible or at least impractical as a primary sight. That said, I tried Vortex, Sig Sauer, and other similarly priced micro dots, and was surprised to find that the Sightmark Mini Shot M-Spec FMS Reflex Sight proved to be completely usable for my eyes. True, the dot is not crystal clear and a tiny bit fuzzy because of my astigmatism, but it nonetheless it is a dot. All other brands I tried appeared to me like large starbursts and were therefore unusable. Additionally, I like the protective steel cage around the sight glass. It’s very similar to the shield of EOTech sights. None of the other sights I tried out had this additional protective feature. Overall, I am very pleased and have already ordered another one to serve the same purpose, which is as secondary sight as well as for close-range. Great product!

I'm totally sold on the performance of Sightmark products. This particular model is installed on my Remington Versa Max and it's being used for goose hunting. This type of sighting system makes it easier to place the shot pattern exactly on the intended target. I have a different model of Sightmark on my Mossberg Turkey Special that has greatly improved my hunting success!
Pros:
- Waterproof
- Dustproof, easy operation and long lasting battery life.
Best Used for:
- Shotgun, handgun and close range rifle

I have mine mounted on top of the wolfhound, also from Sightmark. I didn’t want to like it, because it’s so small i felt like the field of view was limited. I took it to the range and wow was I surprised. I quickly zeroed it and was making shots 50+ yards with my AR-15. Zero has held and it’s mount is super solid. I was going to try to move it over to my new pistol but I may just get another one and have 2. A unit like this would look fantastic on top of my 9mm if I could find a mounting plate that was compatible with my Turkish Pistol from SAR USA.
Pros:
- Accurate
- Coated Lens
- Tough, easy to adjust and zero.
- Good Looking optic for any gun
- Price much less than other similar style Red Dot Optics
Cons:
- only 1 sight option (red dot)

Used the M-Spec out on a trip to the range for the first-time last Friday. Had it on a Smith and Wesson and it gave an accurate and easy operation experience. Our whole group found the red dot to work well for them and had little issue with target acquisition. One thing I did discover is that people who are not used to shooting were not able to use the sight as effectively. I think this comes down to just experience in this area. The differing bright levels came in handy when overhead lighting changed making it more comfortable to look through after adjusting.
