Most Helpful Positive Review Small but mighty
I bought the Pro the. Decided to upgrade to the M-Spec. This thing is super nice. I have ran it with the riser on a couple AR platforms, on a micro Roni and I currently have it one my Glock 19. It held zero on every weapons system I have used it on too. Easy to zero in, simply turn the screw and lin...

Most Helpful Negative Review Sight Mark Mini
The Sight Mark Mini blew apart the second time I shot my gun. Its been 2 weeks since I called customer service. I'm still waiting for return info and return label. There is only one thin bolt holding the scope on mount. Too thin for percussion. A heavier design would be more secure.

Sightmark Mini Shot

by Slugger, from ID, United States Written on October 24, 2022
This is the second such sight I've bought. I've mounted them on shotguns. They can withstand the heavy recoil that results from shooting slugs in my guns. They are also very low profile, with the red dot only slightly higher than the sighting plane over a ventilated rib.
Pros:
  • Compact, sturdy, low profile.
Cons:
  • None.

Never got to use it

by SadCustomer, from OK, United States Written on September 4, 2022
Mounted it, took it two days later to the range. Didn't turn on even after switching batteries. Figured I'd give it a try, paid for the lesson. Do not purchase this. They tell me to wright more, don't know what else to put here but that the optic is trash.
Pros:
  • Non
Cons:
  • all
Best Used for:
  • Trashbin

Ok budget friendly beginner optic

by Nando, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on September 26, 2021
Black coating in housing started chipping immediately. Ok beginner optic but honestly, I recommend saving up a few more bucks up and buy a Holosun or Sig. But if your budget is maxed out and this is your only choice, the optic will get the job done.

good addition to handgun

by hunteruser7, from TX, United States Written on July 27, 2021
I used this on a handgun which was a nice addition. While having my arms locked out in front, this M-Spec was the perfect missing piece I needed. It helped me to aim properly and keep my eye on the target.

Solid Built, Great Quality Glass & Dot, Reasonably Priced

by ameister, Verified Owner from GA, United States Written on January 2, 2021
I purchased this sight as a backup and for short-range engagement using a 45-degree offset mount. I also have astigmatism which makes the use of red dots impossible or at least impractical as a primary sight. That said, I tried Vortex, Sig Sauer, and other similarly priced micro dots, and was surprised to find that the Sightmark Mini Shot M-Spec FMS Reflex Sight proved to be completely usable for my eyes. True, the dot is not crystal clear and a tiny bit fuzzy because of my astigmatism, but it nonetheless it is a dot. All other brands I tried appeared to me like large starbursts and were therefore unusable. Additionally, I like the protective steel cage around the sight glass. It’s very similar to the shield of EOTech sights. None of the other sights I tried out had this additional protective feature. Overall, I am very pleased and have already ordered another one to serve the same purpose, which is as secondary sight as well as for close-range. Great product!

Sightmark Mini Shot M-Spec

by Daniel, from OH, United States Written on November 10, 2020
I'm totally sold on the performance of Sightmark products. This particular model is installed on my Remington Versa Max and it's being used for goose hunting. This type of sighting system makes it easier to place the shot pattern exactly on the intended target. I have a different model of Sightmark on my Mossberg Turkey Special that has greatly improved my hunting success!
Pros:
  • Waterproof
  • Dustproof, easy operation and long lasting battery life.
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Shotgun, handgun and close range rifle

great little red dot

by Chris S, from NC, United States Written on September 24, 2020
I have mine mounted on top of the wolfhound, also from Sightmark. I didn’t want to like it, because it’s so small i felt like the field of view was limited. I took it to the range and wow was I surprised. I quickly zeroed it and was making shots 50+ yards with my AR-15. Zero has held and it’s mount is super solid. I was going to try to move it over to my new pistol but I may just get another one and have 2. A unit like this would look fantastic on top of my 9mm if I could find a mounting plate that was compatible with my Turkish Pistol from SAR USA.
Pros:
  • Accurate
  • Coated Lens
  • Tough, easy to adjust and zero.
  • Good Looking optic for any gun
  • Price much less than other similar style Red Dot Optics
Cons:
  • only 1 sight option (red dot)
Best Used for:
  • Quick target acquisition

M-Spec IS GREAT

by Red Power Ranger, from TX, United States Written on July 13, 2020
Used the M-Spec out on a trip to the range for the first-time last Friday. Had it on a Smith and Wesson and it gave an accurate and easy operation experience. Our whole group found the red dot to work well for them and had little issue with target acquisition. One thing I did discover is that people who are not used to shooting were not able to use the sight as effectively. I think this comes down to just experience in this area. The differing bright levels came in handy when overhead lighting changed making it more comfortable to look through after adjusting.
