Exceptional value and feature / function for the price.
I purchased this unit due to the special pricing and 5% discount. This put me into the $615 range for the 50mm unit. I had my heart set on a Pulsar digital scope but took a chance after watching all the youTube vids and reviews. Arrival: My son and I are amazed. The night mode w/ 3 IR settings really allows a great nighttime experience. You can dial it in and have good eye relief.
Note the images on the site are from the older unit. The new unit has a hinged front cap. A small 1/16" peep for daylight use. the repeatability and zeroing had my Son putting nickel size groups at 55yrds ...

Great Product for the money
I hog hunt in Texas and this has gotten me the larger boars that have been only traveling at night. I upgraded the IR illuminator to a Sniper Hog lights 38 and you can easily see at 400+ yards. I have taken one sow at 400 and could see clear enough to distinguish her body and head. the only thing i couldn't see was little piglets but i was focusing in on the sow. This is a upgrade from the gen 1 atn x sight. what i like the most is i can have this scope powered on with the push of one button and it comes with a cover for daylight use.
the only negative i have is if any brush or tall grass is in front of you the scope will focus in on it and not beyond the brush (this is becuase the IR is hitting it).
overall i would buy again

Night Vision Scope
This scope is easy to use and for the cost, is a great value. I have had over 1,000 hours flying aircraft with PVS-5 and ANVS-6 NVG's and the resolution of this scope out to a couple hundred yards is on part with the NVG's I flew with. I have it mounted on a .223 and it is a great combination with the rifle. I also like the fact that I can sight it in daylight conditions.
Pros:
- Excellent value
- easy to use and set up
- Great definition in field of view
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Would be optimum for hunting wild hogs

Great scope for the price
Scopes sharpness is a little fuzzy during day operation in thick woods. Night operation is good out to 120 yrds with included ir. I added a Evolva Future Technology T20 IR 38mm Lens Infrared Light Night Vision Flashlight Torch. The Evolva Future Technology T20 IR 38mm Lens Infrared Light Night Vision Flashlight Torch added a couple hundred more yards to the scopes range. Ive hog hunted for over a year with this setup taking dozens of hogs. This system works well over a feeder or in aopen field out to 300 yrds. I would choose a soft recoil caliber like a 300aac or 223 because of the eye relief is close. I use a 300aac for hogs at night with a 125grn bullet.
You can sight the scope in with differnt grn bullets. Elevation and windage is digital. Store the settings on your phone and sight in the next gun bullet. The windage and elevation gives a numerical number on the screen. Dial in your settings and your ready. This scope uses 30mm HIGH rings..

Night vision
Haven't mounted it yet so I'm not completely aware of how its going work for me. It's a quality scope and is easy enough to operate after you read the instructions. I'm sure i will be more than satisfied once I use it..

Sightmark PhotonXT 6.5-50 Digital NV sight
The Sightmark Photon XT 6.5-50 Digital NV sight is exactly as advertised. It is also exactly what I need to dial in and take varmints during hours of darkness. The increments on the reticle really increase "first round hits" at distances that are different from the zeroing in range. To increase the "detection" range I also purchased a larger IR light source. I am pretty satisfied with this device and would recommend it to others.

Photon 6.5x50
Used night vision from $250-6,000 and the value you get from the photon 6.5 is worth every penny. You must get an external ir Illuminator because the built in one isn't any good, I knew this going in from all the reviews I had read and they were right. Have shot several coyotes out to 300 yards and had no problems seeing the dogs. This is a very good scope for the hunter on a budget.

Great Service
Sightmark deserves very high ratings for their unmatched support and service. I purchased a PhotonXT scope, had a couple of questions, and they responded within two hours each time. Their entire support system is very user friendly.

Photon 6.5x review
Have not yet actually mounted this scope as of yet for field trials but from what I can see it looks like it will be a lot of fun. The choice of reticle styles and colors at the push of a button are very interesting.
It is a fixed 6 1/2 power and I chose a fixed power for a the following reasons:
(1) I have heard there were some problems with other scopes that had variable power ranges
(2) at the ranges this unit is effective at you will not need more power than 6 1/2 magnification
(3) the price was right
I went out at night and looked down the street with it and it is like looking through a viewfinder of a B&W camera with a rifle reticle. Really kind of cool. Not suited for military or high risk security work because if you use the Infrared Illuminator anyone else with a similar electronic scope will bust your position.
I will try to submit another report later this year after I have actually used it in the field.
Thanks.
