Great idea but not effective... - SightMark SM25013 LoPro Laser/Light/IR Combo Green Laser Picatinny/Weaver

The light and green laser is awesome and the profile is nice and love the fact that you can mount the their red dot onto it. The price is also great but that mat also be why the quality isn't up to par. I've used is in a low light match and it was perfect and effective to help me score second place but it ends there. The batteries do not last even when off so I was carrying around extras and the side buttons are sensitive so the device can accidentally be on when stored in case or bag which shortens the battery life even more. I had to tape plates to the sides over buttons to prevent this from happening and use the switch. The attached switch also no longer works so I have to use the side buttons now and remove the taped plates which now defeat the first remedy. I would not trust my life on it as it is not dependable and no longer use this device. It turned out to be a waste of money as there was no reply or support from Sightmark on fixing issues as in getting another switch or finding a compatible one.
