Most Helpful Negative Review Great Idea but not effective...
The light and green laser is awesome and the profile is nice and love the fact that you can mount the their red dot onto it. The price is also great but that mat also be why the quality isn't up to par. I've used is in a low light match and it was perfect and effective to help me score second place but it ends there. The batteries do not last even when off so I was carrying around extras and the side buttons are sensitive so the device can accidentally be on when stored in case or bag which shortens the battery life even more. I had to tape plates to the sides over buttons to prevent this from...

Great Light

by JP, Verified Owner from CO, United States Written on April 24, 2024
It's a little on the bulky side, but has a bright laser, various white light settings and you can mount a red dot on top. No NVG's so can't speak to the IR function. Laser adjustment knobs are solid and do not shift while shooting keeping a good zero on the laser.

Great product, bad pressure pad

by Jerad, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on April 7, 2024
Had absolutely no issues mounting and zeroing my laser< but when it came to installing pressure pad to the laser light it did not work. Shortly after unscrewing the adapter, the wires came completely out of the socket for the pressure pad. Fantastic laser but really wanted the pressure pad to work with it.

A solid light, IR illuminator, and laser for the price.

by Bill, Verified Owner from IN, United States Written on February 6, 2024
The light isn’t the brightest in the world but it works. The IR Illuminati’s really doesn’t do much but it is a great budget option. The laser is works great and the MOA adjustments are crisp. Mounts well on picatinny and hasn’t moved or wiggled while shooting. Good budget option.
Pros:
  • Budget
  • IR - good
Cons:
  • Appearance

Great Tactical light

by Jonas Escalera, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on February 3, 2024
This is a low profile light with white light that penetrates well. Green laser visible anywhere in the house day and night. Outside visible up to 50 ft easily past that only visible at night. Well balanced, able to acquire multiple targets quickly. The button activation is immediate easily enough wire to place it anywhere. Easy to set up zero, and it keeps it zero after thousands of rounds.

This item is very large

by k-Roll, Verified Owner from NH, United States Written on February 13, 2023
Should have bought the smaller model.
Tried this on the too of my 10 in quad rail on a LWRC individual carbine in 5.56. It IS a TANK. It barely fits under a Primary Arms 2x prism optic with the tallest riser installed
Pros:
  • Multiple brightness settings
  • Built solid
  • spot to mount a small red dot on top
Cons:
  • weight
  • price
  • size
  • remote switch comes with one piece of double sided tape like in the 90s.
Best Used for:
  • Not sure

close to perfect with amazing price

by KenBee, Verified Owner from PA, United States Written on August 28, 2022
Its weight might be issue for some but not a deal breaker for me.
I believe it's good enough for home defense, although reliability has to be tested. Its high build quality gives me enough assurance though.
I put it on my 10.5" AR15 at 3 o'clock position and have no issue so far and love it.
To make sure it holds the zero, I mark the adjustment nobs and used a tiny rubber band around them.
I love the buttons; I can find it easily without looking and it's very crisp.
It has not turned on accidental when carrying or any other time despite of some complains; Probably if you mount it at 12.
The cable switch is push button and just turns my last setting temporally which what i expect.
No comment on IR features as I don't have any NV goggle yet.

Good for the price, but not great.

by Barnus, Verified Owner from MI, United States Written on August 16, 2021
The controls are in a good spot, the tape switch has decent buttons, and the IR illumination is useful (but not great). With gen 3 you get about 50 yards of illumination. with a gen 1+ unit it seems to be about 20 yards of useable light. the white light unit is bright, and has a decently wide beam. good for close up work inside the woods or in the house but this is NOT a long range light or IR illuminator. I wish the tape switch would allow me to have multiple selections for what type of beam I can throw. Sometimes I want to use only the laser. but other times I want only the white light. sadly the tape switch is only an on/off. and you make your selection of which beams are thrown on the unit itself. Others have written about poor battery life, but I've used my unit twice for extended periods, and I've left the battery in for over two weeks now. Still running the cheap battery the unit came with.

also, when using the IR illuminator, sometimes there is a momentary flicker of the visible white light off of the LED. This could be a problem if you're using this unit as a cheap alternative to a more expensive unit for your airsoft or paintball games. It only seems to happen when you press the tape switch. and it only happens for a split second. and not at full brightness. but it still happens.
Pros:
  • Affordable
  • good mounting system
  • decent buttons
  • decent controls
Cons:
  • white light flickers when using IR
  • non-adjustable beam
Best Used for:
  • Airsoft
  • Recreation and training

Pressure switch does not work

by chip Douglas, from MN, United States Written on October 10, 2019
Set this up and the laser/light components work great, however the pressure switch doesnt work for any function. On/off buttons on both sides of the device works as intended. Have yet to confirm if the laser holds zero.
