Items look true to MILSPEC standards. I don’t know how well they’ll thread with overspray on the threads though. One thing you need to do before installation is thoroughly clean out the inside of the tube. Mine was full of powder material, same color as the tube. If the tighten down a little on QC they have a decent affordable product.

Item came in flashy packaging with a big decal. My recommendation is to take that exorbitant spending and apply it to your product.
What you get is a thin shelled hollow plastic grip with no storage plug or door. I mean this thing is CHEAP. If they cut back on the packaging they could give this thing a makeover. Maybe thicken the walls. Add a trap door and some rubberized panels on the sides? The design is neat but I wouldn’t put this on a real AR.

This item comes from Samson so I wasn’t surprised when I saw, felt how solid this grip was. The machining is tight and everything fits precisely. There are no sharp corners left anywhere and the lock up between its base and grip is super solid.
This grip is aluminum but has the weight of steel so if you’re looking to make an ultra lite build this is not the one for you.
It’s design give you an Mlok base that the grip then threads into with a robust screw that is actuated by the grips end cap. Not a lot of moving parts and is an example of the K.I.S.S. Methodology. You could remove the grip and leave the base in place and still run and gun without any discomfort. For me, it makes storage in my vehicles locking rack easier.
Grip weight w/o base comes in at 5.42oz. Similar to the weight of a heavy buffer weight.
The grip does have some light cross hatch engraving for added grip but on mine the paint was a little bit sloppy and some were filled in. Probably a new guy on the job but I wouldn’t let it deter you as it is cosmetic and doesn’t seem to interfere with the grip-page.
If you’re looking for a versitile and solid vertical grip for your Battle Rattle and at a fair price look no further!

Here is a product that is a diamond in the rough. Great shape and innovative design. Quality is lacking. You get the item in this wild packaging with a cool sticker but what’s inside is just a lightweight piece of hard plastic. If they thickened the walls of this grip up, added rubberized side panels and put a trap door on the bottom they would have nailed it. What you get is a cool shaped but cheap grip. I do not reccommend.

SI is one of my favorite accessory manufacturers. In the last 5 years they have had a renaissance in design and styling that I love. They also have shown innovation and have a large selection. I was pleased that they offer a “brace” model of the dual folding stock. However, this thing is EXPENSIVE! They SHOULD include the cheek rest but make you buy that as an add on accessory and for the price I am really disappointed. It comes off as a cheesy CASH GRAB and has made me re-think my patronage to their products. Companies that do this are beginning to realize their share of the market and then begin to squeeze as much profit out of it as they can. For $180 the cheek rest, which is really a necessity if you want a good index and cheek weld, should be part of this item. Shame on you guys.

A little disappointed that the title nor description mentions that this will only work on a specific Glock generation. There’s no mention so in my haste I assumed it was universal. SI is a good company but the advertising of this product lead me to a part I will never use. Returns have now become a multi stage process at OP so it’s not worth the hassle.

I used these rail covers on my BCM KeyMod hand guard and they always snapped in easy, stayed put and felt great.
Well bots and girls, BCM went and “NEW-and IMPROVED” them.
The texture looks and feels different, but I will never know the difference because the NEW interior “cleats” that snap into the keymod openings have changed also and do not snap in.
I went as far as tapping them with a lightweight, plastic/rubber faced smithing hammer, no go. I squeezed them with a clamp to try and snap them in, no go.
I don’t know if Optics Planet sent the wrong ones, but after examining the underside of these covers, I have no idea what they would be compatible with. These teeth look way to wide to snap into an mlok opening either.
I am emailing them tonight, more to follow.

Definitely a company with as their ally pleasing products.
My frustration? A riser that comes in a box that says “FAST” in all caps, but is a standard hex bolt tighten to Mount configuration. Basically like all the other basic bolt on risers but twice the price.
Secondly, is their advertising. I have no idea what’s supposed to be in the darn box. Ya ya ya, I can read, but the OP pics show an optional (?) 45 degree peep sight attached. Not in the box. The Mount has several HOLES in it and one could think maybe there’s something missing? My guess is they’re predrilled attachment points for the proprietary “extras” they want to sell you.
It’s maddening ! It would be like selling you a Swiss Army Knife that arrives incomplete.
Sig Sauer went down this forced proprietary road and the ONLY reason they survived was their military contracts. Tighten up!

This company resisted the urge to go overboard with this upgrade, and it paid off. What you get is an extended magazine release that is basically just like the original, except it sticks out another 1/4”. Not enough to catch on slings and such, but enough so you can locate it by feel alone. Good things come in small packages.
Good luck!

Should have bought the smaller model.
Tried this on the too of my 10 in quad rail on a LWRC individual carbine in 5.56. It IS a TANK. It barely fits under a Primary Arms 2x prism optic with the tallest riser installed
