Not the best on the market, but the best for the price...Daylight as everyone has said hard to see past 20 yards...In low light in a building with no windows where lasers excellent this is a fine unit...I own 3 of these never a issue, I use rechargeable 123 batteries. As long as your not jumping or swimming in...just plinking or home defense these are fine...Does have the cool factor, especially from guys that don't know any better...lolx2 ● mounted on Daniel Defense ISR bronze. US military retired
Pros:
- Good looking item with a cool factor & works great in low light conditions.
Cons:
- Not built like something Aim Point would build...durable enough for home & range
Best Used for:
- Low light shot house training or home defense .

Y’all ever sit and look at the night time air and see that lighting bug 500 yards away this lazer is the only lazer I know you can reach that far and communicate with them with.

After about a year it just stopped working. No rhyme no reason just was completely dead. New batteries didn't help. Nothing. It's now a great paperweight with a button
Cons:
- NOT built to last
- Not good for real firearms

I needed something for my KelTec Sub2000 that would not interfere with folding the carbine, was reasonably inexpensive and used actual batteries (not magnetic rechargeable). The Sightmark product fit all of those needs with a good quality easy to adjust green laser that uses a long lasting CR23 battery. I now have a sight option for CQC situations within my home.
Pros:
- Cost; use of CR23 battery; ease of adjustment
Cons:
- Bright sunlight beyond 15 yards may be difficult to pickup the dot
Best Used for:
- 15-20 yards bright light; dim light and darkness; inside home protection

So I have gotten this and put it on my AR-15 it really does have a low profile design nice green laser it's got the push button or pressure pad operation and the windage elevation adjustments. The low profile design allows it to sit on the top and not impede my vision through the tactical scope the only thing I can see is it comes with two buttons on the pressure pad but neither one of them allows for constant operation without holding it. I do wish it had a double click for it to stay on. If it does I haven't figured it out. But other than that it's awesome
Pros:
- Affordable
- very well built
- Good robust laser
- Nice metal housing
- Very nice color green laser
Cons:
- This does not have IR so if that is something you're looking for this is not it
- Pressure pad does not seem have a constant on setting
Best Used for:
- Hunting possible combat self-defense

Bottom line with rifle mounted laser devices: you get what you pay for. Does it work? Yes. Will it withstand the abuse of being mounted to a actual weapon and dragged through harsh environments? Not a chance. I stripped out the screw type mount because it kept loosening and falling off. Pressure switch is not great either. But the green laser works well.

For the price it’s hard to beat. It’s bright and lights up well. Sadly, the spring that holds the battery in place for recoil reduction fell off the screw on cap, and while trying to put it back on flew in some random direction. While it still works without, it can no longer handle firing. Don’t know spring size as it’s not listed anywhere that I can find thus far.

Really wanted to like this laser, it is very well built and has quality features. The mounting is solid, adjustments are effortless with easily accessible and user friendly turrets. The remote pad has a single pin, screw in connector that is robust and surprisingly included at this price point. UNFORTUNITELY, the beam of this laser is very week. Just fine for indoors but good luck finding the dot outside during daylight hours at ranges of 20 meters and beyond. Hopefully Optics Planet will accept this for an exchange as the laser will not work adequately for its intended use for me.
Pros:
- Solid construction and easy to install.
Best Used for:
- Low light, very near distanced targets

I mounted this on the right side of my Tavor x95. The laser almost lines up with the barrel mounted on the side. This way there is less side drift at distance shooting if you can set it straight enough with a one inch right offset from target. Then you set bullet drop.
