Do not buy
I purchased this item and when I tried to use it the holographic image was multiple. Instead of a dot there were multiple dots. I returned it for replacement. The replacement item had the same problem. I will return this as well for a refund or purchase another item. DO NOT BUY.
Best red dot under $75
Don't waste your time with generic $30 red dots from Amazon or Ebay. This is the real deal, and it's a great price for the quality and features. It's unfortunate that this sight might have been discontinued as of February 2022, options are now limited for a good basic red dot under $100. I'd suggest get them while they're in stock if you're looking for a no-nonsense American company with good background and history in sights, and avoid the generic chinese stuff from amazon sellers.

Not what I expected
Sight drains the battery. Battery dead when I got it. Had to put in a new battery to adjust it. It won't turn off. I have to take the battery out, to save the battery. When I put the battery back in, it is already on. I have other Sight Mark sights, this one seems to be a dud.

Good Budget Item
The item arrived faster then expected which was the best part. Mounted it on my 7.5 inch AR15 pistol and it worked great. Would definitely recommend if working on a budget. Oh yeah the battery I received was dead so just buy some ahead of time. I thought it didn’t work

Inexpensive and effective
This device is simple to install and use. Reticle type and intensity is very easy to use and acceptable. Buttons are accessible but to increase/decrease intensity the dot gets blocked. The packaging is simple and the instructions are clear. I would suggest this for anyone who wants to get their feet wet with this type of site

So far so good
About 50 rounds with a 223 center fire rifle so far, It sits at the 2 oclock position with my scope at 12. It was easy to sight in, I did bore scope it first then used a conversion bold at the rang with 22LR. Switched back to 223 and it was dead on. The shot I'll be takig with it will be under 100 feet.

Great For the Money
This optic worked well right out of the box. I was concerned at first, but only had to make minor adjustments to get it dialed in. I was hitting steel in the standing from 100 yards with my 10/22 within minutes.

sightmark sure shot plus
Got the sight and had to replace the battery from the start. Also had a deep scratch on the left side. After I installed the new battery it functions good. Nice and clear, the dimmer is easy to adjust. It is a good look on my ar 9 pistol.

Not an ordinary red dot sight
I purchased this sightmark because the price was in my budget and thought that if it was a cheap sight then oh well. I noticed as soon as i opened the box it is very low profile, excellent aquisition and easy functions, i set my relief and started my boresighting....it only required a very minor adjustment. This sight is just awesome for the price and i HIGHLY recommend for any build.

Sightmark sure shot plus reflex red dot sight
Great red dot sight for the money. Not fancy but really worth the money. Easy to mount and operate. Highly recommend for your hunting rifle, AR, etc. Optics planet once more has found another winner for us.

Great budget optic
After arriving I immediately mounted on a recently built 9MM AR pistol. Headed out the the range and after a few minor adjustments went through several magizines of ammo and found the sight worked very well. Would recommend to anyone that is working on a budget build and wounts more than back-up iron sights. Comes with it own Hex wrench, easy to mount, battery is easy to remove and adjustments are easily made.
