i shoot about 1000 44 mag rounds a month out of a s&w 629 6 inch barrel the sharp recoil screws with the battery connection on the sights that use the flat cr2032 type battery the wolverine works great holds it dot and with its adjustable dot can be changed for different light conditions the aa battery works its a good price for a very good scope
