FEATURE HEAVY, VERY FAIR PRICE.
Firstly, I must admit I'm not a huge fan of Sightmark. Some of their sights are shoddy at best and I've had to return some, but with this Wolverine CSR, I have to give credit where credit is due. I own two of these sights, and have them mounted on my Mini 14 and M&P15-22. I tried to buy the secon...

Well made, bit sketchy activation
This red dot optic seems to be a well made and reasonably priced product and uses a readily available AA type battery instead of scarcer/pricier camera batteries.
This sight is for the shooter engaging at closer ranges, as the 4 mil red dot is about 6" in diameter at 25 yards, just about the same s...

Defective from factory.
Yet another junk product from Sightmark. I had high hopes for this optic but I was greatly let down. When I first got it I tested everything on it and it worked great, seemed like a very solid red dot for the price. The next day when I went to put it on my rifle it wouldn’t power on. I tried everything and even tried 3 different brand new batteries with no avail. I kept messing with it throughout the day to see if it would turn on and nothing. I ended up returning it and will never buy another Sightmark product. I got one of their EOtech knock offs a few years ago that was a pure joke. Save your money and get at least a Holosun or Primary Arms optic.

Great RDS and Holds Zero
I bought this for a foldable PCC. It’s rugged, holds zero, and the price is great. I even take the sight off my PCC when I put it in my backpack to go shooting, and when I put it back on it’s right on target. I run more expensive optics on my SBR and AR-15 because they are my go-to rifles and high quality. This is more bulky than I’d like to be mounted on those but if I did, this sight would work and hold zero. If you’re between optics and don’t want to spend a lot, this will 100% be a great choice.

So nice on 22 rifles.
I've been using this with all my rifles to find the perfect fit. I bought another one.
Pros:
- Lightweight easy controls.
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Squirrel or rabbit

Sightmark red dot
I am relaying this as it was a gift. The recipient was quite pleased with it. This is the 3rd I have purchased, two 4MOA (gifts) and one 2 MOA. All three are great quality and a good value. The 4 MOA's were mounted on AR 15's and with the preinstalled riser when mounted on the upper receiver are a perfect co-witness to the front iron sight. One is being used in conjunction with a flip up/down magnifier as well. The 2 MOA was mounted to a lever gun with the aid of an add on picitinny rail and set with a laser bore sight.
Pros:
- Great quality, function and warranty. Exceptional battery life using standard size batteries
Cons:
- none noted
Best Used for:
- Quick and accurate target accusition to 100 yards
Would recommend: Yes
Great Dot for 12ga.
This thing is easy to adjust and sight in. I love that the riser can be removed to suit your weapon and type of shooting. I put it on my turkey gun and it has performed perfectly and held zero through every shot. And I tested a ton of turkey ammo this year.
Best Used for:
- Anything & everything

Sightmark Wolverine Red Dot
Seems to be very well built and definetly waterproof. The rubberized coating and seals are great. My only complaint is the battery needs to be on the other side of the dot as it can interfere with the left eye path of vision at closer distances. If you're a left handed shooting it won't be a problem.
Pros:
- well built
Cons:
- battery location on wrong side for right hand shooters
Best Used for:
- Any it will mount on
Would recommend: Yes

Okay, but not thrilled
I don't like leaving negative reviews in general, but I purchased this as my first entry into the Sightmark product line, and I had high expectations. It looks great, feels solid, but my gripe is that when you turn up the brightness of the dot, it gets to a point where the entire reticle starts to glow and it limits your view. I do not plan to return, because this only happens on the highest settings, but I do not experience this same annoying issue on some of my other red dot units. So why do I still recommend? because it is still very useable. I do like the feel- it seems like it has an aluminum body, and then it is coated in rubber to make it more durable. Seems to handle recoil fine as well.

Rugged scope, looks and functions great
I love the Wolverine because it’s a great optic, but also because it looks so unique when compared to other tube-style red dots. Other tube style red dots tend to all look the same, but the Wolverine has such a sleek design. The fact that it uses AA batteries is a huge plus as I always have them lying around, but I’ll probably never have to change them anyways. The 4 MOA dot is great for close range work. I also really liked the rubberized exterior of the optic.

Wolverine CSR
I liked the tube style of this optic. It also has a great battery life. The red dot was hard to see at first, but it was because I didn’t adjust the brightness correctly. Simple user error! Once I got the brightness adjustment down, it was smooth sailing from there.
Pros:
- brightness control
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- quick target adjustment
Would recommend: Yes

Nice product
So far so good .Mounted on my weapon, seems to be solid and nice scope. Have not put it threw the target shooting test yet , but I think it is what I was looking for and the price was right. If it works out I will most likely order another one .
