First of all, ditch the poopoo supplemental light and buy a good adjustable one. With a good ir light I can pop coyotes at a treeline a fuzz under 300 yards away. I have spent so much money on NV and thermal over the last decade and I went cheap to throw this on a Ruger American in 300... It has become my coyote slayer. I've since sold other NVs and kept this one. Batter lasts so long I forget to charge it. Don't mess with the digital zoom, just use it within its range and you'll be well pleased.

I am so impressed with the Sightmark Wraith 4K Day/Night 4-32 X40 scope. Extremely easy to mount, set up, sight in and operate. I am having so much fun shooting my Black Rain Ordnance Spec 15, AR 15 with this scope!

My nephew has one and likes his, so I thought I would give it a shot, and I'm not disappointed. I will definitely add a bugger light on it, but otherwise its good to go and didn't leave me broke eating Ramen Noodles the rest of the week.

The Sightmark wraith has great resolution out to 300 yards. Easy to zero and lots of good reticles to choose from. Great optic for the money. The battery life is the only spot for improvement. Carrying extra batteries or a portable charger is a must. Instructions are just all QR codes on the box, except for a quick start guide in the box. So plan on going online to read.

Scope works well in daytime mode, low light mode, and night vision mode. Fairly intuitive controls, starts up quickly, great clarity in this model out to 800 yds with included IR light. Ability to scan fields at dusk in low light mode, then transition to Night mode and IR light allows positive target identification in any condition. Ability to record with the touch of a button allows excellent teaching opportunities for younger or inexperienced hunters. Great tool and money well spent!
Pros:
- Price
- Clarity
- Magnification
