I have a sigtron 10-50x60 that has the .01 reticle dot and it can be hard to spot on dark targets. So I wanted to try the 25003 with the military reticle and it is much easier on old eyes. Optics planet shipped quickly and had the best price I could find.
Pros:
- Quicker target acquisition
Best Used for:
- I target shoot precision 22lr at 50 and 100 yards

I own some Vortex Razor in gen 1 and genii. The gen 1 price routinely reaches the same prices as the sightron. I really like the zoom range but the clarity, even at 10x does not match the razor gen1. I had high hopes but not good enough.
I wanted to use the scope mostly from 10-30 and then use the ultra zoom for spotting. Above 30x, quality drops off quite a bit. For a high zoom scope at the price, it is a solid deal when on sale but there is better glass at the price to be had if you don't need the ultra zoom.

I was worried to spend 900 bucks on a locally unproven scope. However, after testing it, I'm glad that I did. A few things to note, make sure that you have the super high scope mounts when you go to mount this beast because the objective on this scope is freaking huge. Another thing to add is that the dot on the reticle at 50 power will disappear inside a quarter inch hole at 100 yards. That's how much magnification that you have with this scope. So far, I don't have any regrets with this purchase and do recommend this scope to others. It fills good to outshoot someone that spent way more money than you with their rig.
Cons:
- ugly scope cover
- no sunshade in the box
Best Used for:
- long range shooting
- impressing friends
- great reticle

Hard to beat this for the money. Not quite a NF though. anything past 45x is just too dark unless you have a bright sunny day. But the clicks are great and resolution out to 600 yards was very impressive.
Cons:
- big objective have to use tallmounts

Excellent scope for the money. The extra 10% off from optics planet sealed the deal. the only fault I have is the scope covers. If that's the best they can do-don't send anything. Maybe a discount card and referral to a decent cover.
Pros:
- great magnification range

I bought the Sightron SIII with the illuminated retractile and torture tested it on my M99 .416 Barrett. The scope is holding up great and haven't lost the zero on the scope after a good 200 rounds. At 50 power with a warm barrel the mirage effect does start to play in and I do have to dial back on the magnification. Personally, no big deal. With an added 60mm sunshade the scope looks like a beast and adds the wow factor to my already awesome Barrett. In all I found a great scope with high magnification that performs up to my expectations.
Pros:
- 50 power scope
- Holds zero with a huge round
- MOA clicks
- half the price of a Nightforce
- size of scope looks amazing
Cons:
- mirage effect when the barrel warms up above 50 power
Best Used for:
- Long range slow rate of fire

I purchased the scope for a 338-378 Weatherby mag. The gun is for extreme distances and needed a scope to match. The scope works great for 1k yards. Very clear and easy to use. I use Talley tactical scope rings with 20 MOA picatinny rail.
