Most Helpful Positive Review Great product bad business
Can't complain about the SB15. Optics planet had it listed in stock, ordered it, recieved confirmation and waited for it in the mail. Never recieved it as listed so I checked my email, followed the store link only to find out it was on back order. I recieved my item roughly six (6) weeks later. A friend of mine had this same experience a few years back on some optics. I highly recommend the sig brace, make the wiser move and buy local or order from someone who actually has it in stock. Hope my review has helped shed some light.

It looks great on my 300 blackout. Pictures online where spot on. My forearms are bigger than most so it takes a bit to get used too. But over all great product. Would definitely recommend this to anyone. A homerun for me! Sig always has great stuff. It was pretty easy to get on. If you follow the directions. Might be a sucker if you want to take off though.

Great While Waiting On Form 1

by Demetrius, from TX, United States Written on December 6, 2016
Yes this is not a stock, but... well it fills it's intended niche role quite well. With the NFA wait aywhere from a 12-18 months as of fall 2016, in the meanwhile, this is a great option. I originally had a Shockwave Blade on my 11.5" barreled pistol, but it was worthless. The SB-15 brace is a durable product, that won't mar and gouge your receiver extension (buffer tube). I highly recommend, even if you don't plan on eventually going the NFA route.
Pros:
  • Solid, durable, comfortable
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Ar-15 pistol builds

Quality Brace.

by Rubicon, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on October 28, 2016
I bought my first CZ Scorpion Evo recently and wanted to add a brace for additional support. After a long research I decided to get this brace. Finding the buffer and adapter wasn't that easy for this CZ. However I was able to get a KAK industries buffer and adapter and this brace fits perfectly. Now the pistol looks a lot better and with an FDE brace that matches my pistol.

  • None
Cons:
  • non

Not crazy about it, but it works.

by Rob, Verified Owner from CO, United States Written on July 31, 2016
The concept behind the Sig Sauer SB15 is good. Just putting the brace over the stock tube was a challenge. I had to cover the stock tube with white grease in order for it to slide down the stock tube. Taking it off will be a chore in itself. When you put the brace on the stock tube, you need to move very slowly and keep checking the distance between the pistol grip of your lower and where the brace fits your arm. I have a large forearm and when you slide your arm inside the rubber molding, it scrapes you up pretty good. I strongly suggest you do not use this brace against your skin. Some type of form fitting, long sleeve shirt, like an Under Armour shirt would be a really good idea. The way the brace fits your arm, you need sights on a rail that raise up at least two inches. I put a low profile, red-dot sight on my AR-15 pistol and it became extremely awkward to try and line up the sights using the brace. I really like the concept of the brace, but right now it is a "One size fits all." I do recommend this brace for the sole purpose there are not a lot of options out there similar to the Sig brace. My suggestion to Sig Sauer is, shorten the rubber sides of the brace and use a wider strap for stability.
Pros:
  • very stable for steady aim
Cons:
  • One size fits all
  • Rubber is hard on your skin
Best Used for:
  • plinking
  • I see the AR-15 pistol becoming a target shooters new toy.

Makes an AR15 a viable pistol

by GDSGun, from MN, United States Written on April 29, 2016
If you own an AR15 pistol and hold it like a pistol, (and your like me) your 50 yard groups pretty much aren't. This accessory will change that. Just get some baby powder on the buffer tube and slide it on. You can then simply adjust it to fit you by cooking it off center. Works great with my Meprolight making it a much more steady platform to deliver the goods.

Once strapped on it's literally part of you.

SigTac SB15 Pistol Brace

by Dave, from CA, United States Written on March 31, 2016
The Sig Brace itself is a nice injection molded rubber device. Based on my experience, and using the brace as designed, I found this device to be comfortable. The buffer tube fits great. The brace fits it snug. Excellent product anyone building an AR postal need to put this on.

great pistol brace

by james, from AL, United States Written on April 8, 2015
Great Price, fast shipping...highly recommend. Great Sig quality product. just make sure to have a pistol buffer tube designed for this brace for effective use. The Phase 5 Tactical buffer tube is made for the Sig brace and works perfect. Little hard to slide on, I recommend some kind of cleaner (windex type) to spray on for ease of installation. FYI, if you have large forearms, this will be very tight for a while. Would recommend this product to anyone building an AR pistol.

Works great

by Brooks, from VA, United States Written on January 28, 2015
I ordered the brace because of shoulder pain but it actually made me more accurate. It fits the back of my AR pistol instead of leaving just a foam bar it now feels like an extension of my arm. I would recommend this to anyone with an ar15 pistol.
