Nice scope for the price
In regards to the scope, I think is a nice buy for $40 including shipping. The issue I had is that I ordered based on the picture. They sent me another scope. The only reason I'm keeping it is because it has nice reviews from other buyers.
Crosshairs create 4 separate quadrants of distinctly different blurriness in low light.
You probably won't notice it until hunting in the shade of the setting sun. But when light starts to be less and less... I distinctly began to notice that each quadrant within the circle that the crosshairs made had a faint amount of its own, differently shaped blurriness in its own pattern. Which I thought was very odd since you'd figure the glass would be a separate object with like the crosshairs overlaid onto it or something.
That being said... for AirRifle distances.. like out to 40-50yds... this scope is fine. But more than that...OR... when pushing the envelope as far as available light still left. It's usability quickly starts to fall-off.
I've opted to order another Crossfire II 2-7x32mm to instead replace this as the scope on my CZ452 American Scout .22 LR

Simmons .22 Mag 4x32 Rifle Scope Matte Truplex Rings
I bought this scope to mount on a Marlin Model 60. I was looking for an inexpensive one inch fixed 4 power scope with tip off rings of decent quality. The rings and scope mounted easily and the scope has good clarity. I consider it to be an excellent value to enhance an inexpensive plunked.

3rd Simmons scope in 3 weeks!
I purchased this scope from Optics Planet for a Marlin semi.auto 22. Fit great,and very clear. Purchased a set of Leupold rings at the same time. Was always impressed by Simmons clarity and quality for the price, didn't need a $400.00 scope for a $150.00 rifle.Great product with a rebate to boot! Thanks Optics Planet!!

Great .22 or .177 scope
Replaced Free scope that came on Ruger Blackhawk .177 pellet gun. Very nice scope for the money. Mounting rings are beefy and must be an upgrade to the other Simmons .22, 4 X 32.
