Most Helpful Positive Review good quality scope for the price
Have 2 .44 mag 3x10x44, one on a .243 and one on a .308. I was very surprised at the quality for the price. Both hold their zero very well through the magnification range. Great value! Pros: very clear optics

Good Scope

This is my 2nd purchase of this model scope. For the price it performs well on both a 6.5mm and a 45-70 double rifle. With a solid mount & rings it takes the 45-70 recoil well. No change in POI after 25 rounds of the heavy recoiling 45-70.
Pros:
  • Price, rugged design
Cons:
  • focus at 10 power could be improved

Great scope for the money

For what you pay for this scope it can't be beat. I mounted it on a Knight muzzle loader and although I haven't had a chance to zero the weapon yet, I don't expect to have any problems. I've used this exact model on a .270, and later moved it to a CVA muzzle loader, for almost 15 years between the two weapons. It has taken a lot of deer and never let me down.
Pros: Cost
Cons: None so far

Quality Scope, Reasonably Priced,

This was about as low as I was prepared to go when I bought this scope as far as quality and price was concerned. The Simmons 44 Mag scope has clear optics and stands up well to the recoil of my Marlin XL7 .270. I found this to be the best combination of a quality scope and a reasonable price.
Pros: Clear Optics, Takes a Pounding, Didn't Break the Bank
Cons: None
