The Simmons scope that should be pictured is one with TARGET TURRETS(441056).I rate Simmons products very high because of their quality and ease of use and durability. This one is also rated to be shock proof ! I like that . However, I'm trying to find this product under $100, hopefully , I will soon.

This is the 2nd Simmons 44MAG Series scope that I have owned. I purchased my first one several years ago when they first came out and the scope is/was excellent. No complaints. This scope is actually better. Great field of view, holds zero well, easy to operate and the magnification and clarity compares to many of the more high dollar scopes. Very fair price for a scope of this quality.
Best Used for:
- Long range hunting and target shooting.

Nice scope with clear vision glass. 44 Mag functions perfectly for multiple distance shooting on p-dog towns. All day accuracy. Adjustment caps are easy to function and hold settings. FOV is great for range scoping and target location. This product number does not come with sun shade.
Pros:
- clear glass
- Easy adjustment

Got the scope on Wednesday, older 44Mag scope replaced with the new one and bore sighted on Thursday. Next stop was the rifle range which just happened to have new wooden target frames set at 25 and 50 yards. My 2 shots at 25 were dead center of the 10 ring and almost looked like 1 hole. My next 2 shots were 1-1.5 inches high at 50 yards and a quarter covered them. I dropped it down 4 clicks and 2 more shots were in the bull and just above it and I think a nickel would cover both. Very impressed with the accuracy and super eye relief. As I already had one I am sure this one is even better. Very SATISFIED!
Pros:
- Price, performance and warranty

I use the Simmons 44 Mag on my turkey shoot guns. I have 3 custom 36" barreled guns and on all 3 I have this scope on them. Once you zero the scope in you can forget it. As long as you don't bang the gun around it will hold true for years. 20 yards and up is great. under 20 yards (18 1/2) its a little blured. Great scope for the money.

The 44 mag series will handle airgun recoil. They are affordable and have good optics and features for the money. I have 2 of them mounted in one piece airgun rated mounts and they have been very reliable.Good Waranty also!
Pros: Clear at all magnifications, Side Parallax Focus, 6x21 magnification, positive click adjustments hold their setting.
Cons: NONE

I got this scope and there is no marking on the power band for mil reading and there is no documentaion about it. in were to set the power band, I called the manufacture and they said it should be 14, well 14 is not labled on the power band it goes from 10-15 and the turret is marked in number of clicks rather then moa or click value, so if whant to move it 2 inches you have to count the clicks.Very dissapointed with this product it is not user friendly. makes no sense to design a scope like this.
Pros: none
Cons: no marking on the power band for mil reading

This scope is the best semi-tac scope that I have put on to my rifle clear optics out to 700 yrds as that is the longest range we have acc too.
Pros: Why spend more money for less
Cons: none yet

This Simmons is one of three scopes I've mounted on a custom 10/22 build- all Mill Dot. Comparatively, this scope is absolutely better than the Mueller Tactical 4-16X50 AO Tactical, far beneath in quality to the Simmons Whitetail Classic 6.5-20X50, and BSA Contender 6-24X40. This scope will definately not go back in the box- it's currently mounted on my CZ455 American.
Pros: Cost and side parallax adjustment
Cons: Not consistantly sharp through adjustment range

Things that were left out of the product description but I think are worth knowing.
The scope is 13.75" long.
The scope comes with a 3" sunshade.
I have my scope mounted to an "Ultimate" Ruger 10/22 with DNZ medium height 1" rings.
Setup was a breeze, and sighting in the scope didn't take long. The turrets turn with a easy click. The scope holds its zero. The lens are clear throughout the zoom range.
Adjustment for parallax is new for me, but with a quick review of the didn't present an problems.
The Simmons 44MAG is proof you don't need to spend a lot to get a good scope.
Pros: well built, solid product
Cons: none
