Decent Scope for the Money
Once again, a Simmons right out of the box that just plain works. As is the case with other Simmons Master Series scopes it's quite attractive. My only complaint is the overall size (11") considering it's listed as a "shotgun scope". In fact, when laid side-by-side with my Simmons Prohunter 2-7X3...

piece of junk
I got suckered in by the low price... AND ya gets whats ya pays for! I bought this for late Muzzle Loader season , took it to the range to sight it in after laser bore sighting. In 2 shots I was in the black ring, every subsequent shot went awry. No matter how I adjusted the windage or elevation sho...

Excellent Scope
This scope is much better than I expected for the price. I have it mounted on my 12 gauge slug gun. It has stood up to the recoil of many rounds fired and been in multiple snow/rain events with no problems. Very clear optics and the zero holds perfectly.

Crystal Clear
As usual great service from OpticsPlanet scope arrived quickly and well packaged. The scope is sitting on a Mossberg 500 and it is just what I had wanted. At 1.5X the field of view is huge! The glass is top notch and the view is crystal clear even at max power. I have not used it in low light settings yet but from my use in full sun light it would appear that your sight picture in the early AM or dusk should be fine. I have put about 30 rounds through the gun (slugs) since mounting the scope and it is holding zero perfectly. Great scope at a great price. I highly recommend. Any concerns about the quality of the Simmons brand were quickly forgotten.
Pros:
- very clear optics and precise adjustments
- price, quality, FFF (form, fit, function)
Cons:
- none... yet
Best Used for:
- hunting, range shooting

got caught n a rain storm with this scope. It leaked and fogged up. found out they r now owned by bushnell. they wouldnt cover the warranty because i had opened it up to try to dry it out so i could continue hunting. i hate bushnell. i am now on my 3rd game camera from them. i wanted my money back but they just keep replacing the camera. it still doesnt work. tired of trying.

rabbit / coyote combo
I bought this for my AR15 to replace my red dot so that I could use it for long range shots at coyotes while dialing it down to 1.5x for quick aquisition of Jack rabbits. I just sighted it in and am very pleased thus far. I am looking forward to my next hunt.

Dr. Levin
I mounted this scope first on a Rem 750 .30-06 and then on an H&R 243. It was a solid scope and performed flawlessly. At 1.5x I could shoot with both eyes open for close/fast shots. When I dialed it up it held its zero. I am going to buy another, it's reliable and an excellent value.
Pros: Solid, affordable

awesome close encounter scope
I highly suggest anyone who wants the ability to get on target quickly and be accurate but that doesn't shoot at stuff 4 million miles away, great for close to medium range targets, great eye releif, almost more clear/brighter looking through scope than real life, great scope!!!
Pros: diamond allows for an almost red dot-like target finding speed, bu offers up to 5x's the magnification for longer distance shots, and more accuracy
Cons: length
