The only bad thing about this spotting scope is that it is very heavy and will result in needing a tripod. But other then that it worked perfectly for me. Good job Optics Planet!

Too Heavy, Great Stargazer!
This spotting scope is so heavy and off balance that you need a large tripod to support it.
It definitely not a spotting scope you could take out into the field.

Great spotting scope
Should be sold without that sorry excuse for a tripod. You could sell it for $2.00 less which is more than that tripod is worth. Besides that the scope is awsome for the money, draws alot of light,very sharp etc. 300 yds @ range is no problem to see holes.Great buy even if you need a new tripod.
