I was in need of a good scope for a 30-06 Remington with more optic power. I have a 21 year old Simmons 3x9x32 scope mounted on a muzzle loader in which I just love, so I said heck, lets take a look at what Simmons Scopes have to offer? After several reviews I came across this one. After I got it mounted with lock-tight on the scope mount screws, this is what I discovered. The adjustments are firm and the tracking is good. No tools required for cross hair adjustments. There is no shadows in the scope and it has plenty of power. Light gathering is excellent with a good field of view. No problem with repeated accuracy after several shots from the shock of a 30-06. The scope was on sale and its the best 88 dollars I have ever invested. You won't be disappointed.
