Quality manufacture. Maximum recoil mitigation.
I put one of these on a HK91 collapsing stock. The original setup is beyond brutal. I had to fabricate a thing to attach it. Came out good. As far as I know, these are the thickest and just right density for rifle recoil. I'm bought another one to put on a Steyr HS50. I got the biggest "grind to fit" they had. The Steyr has a big brake on it, but that doesn't help until the gas gets to the brake. It kicks the hardest of anything I've ever shot. I was shooting prone, and I could not get my shoulder on the recoil pad too well. Scope bit me in the forehead 4 times. I didn't want to stop shooting my new 50. I have a nice new scar now. :)

GOOD DESCRIPTION
THE DIMENSIONS WERE AS LISTED AND THE TEMPLATE ON PRODUCT WEB SITE WAS ACCURATE TO INCLUDE THE HOLE LOCATIONS.
HAD TO DO MINIMAL SANDING AND CONCENTRATED ON THE BASE MATERIAL AND TAPERED UP TO SOFTER MATERIAL. SANDING ON THE SIDES PRODUCED A ROUGH TEXTURE WHICH I ACCEPTED. THIS REPLACED AN OLDER RECOIL PAD ON MY 340 WEATHERBY MAGNUM. I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED TO FIND THAT THE FELT RECOIL WAS GREATLY REDUCED. I HAD PLANNED TO ALSO ADD A MUZZLE BREAK BUT NOW HAVE DECIDED THAT WITH THIS RECOIL PAD I NO LONGER FIND THAT NECESSARY.
