I purchased this alert system originally for my vehicle when I have expensive or valuable items with me when I'm out and about. But Although zi do have a car alarm that isn't as sensitive as I would want it to be, I instead keep it in my bedroom around my firearm work area where zi store a lot of ammo and guns. It functions just as expected and is very alert and sensitive to intruders. I have tested out the various functions multiple times and it has delivered very accurate results each time. A Must-Have for Safe Protection
This is the second unit I just purchased as I added a new gun safe due to expansion.
The thing just works. No issues of any kind and good signal strength even in my basement.
In reality, todays average "Gun Safe" is really a glorified locker intended to keep honest people away.
When you add the Simtek into your safe, you now have an instant warning warning that something or someone is tampering with your safe.
The Simtek turns any "Gun Safe" into a constantly monitored storage system.
My only beef is that I now have two Simtek alarms, but there is no discount for adding multiple devices.
I still highly recommend it!

Piece of mind
Currently using in a cabin with a firearms safe. Had since October and only had to charge the initial set up. Haven't had any false alerts and tested it plenty before leaving and when I visit. It's offered me price of mind that if my safe is opened I will know about it under 10seconds. Pretty remarkable if you ask me!
