You get what you pay for!
I normally don't ever write reviews, but I like optics planet and they make it easy to do a review. This is the best bow case I've ever seen or used. Tough, compact, lockable, purge valve, wheels, compact, and aesthetically pleasing. If your on the fence, just buy it and be happy. Obviously if you had an old bow or wasn't never gonna travel maybe you wouldn't need it. However, today's top end bows are all going for about 1000$, so I want the best protection possible. Especially if I'm gonna take a plane or ride a atv/utv to the woods.
4206 soft case
I have used SKB now case for years now and recently purchased a new soft case the 4206 have used it for 2 seasons now and I can’t believe the corners of the case are down to the piping all the fabric is gone. And the worst part is how meticulous I am with my equipment that case has never seen the bed of a truck it travels with me in the back seat. My old skb case has better corners than the new one. So much for SKB time to try a new brand.

Skb bow cases
Great case. Does a good job when traveling. They are very strong and can take all the airlines can give! I even bough this for my son.
The cases can hold additional clothing when traveling. It is worth the additional dollars.

Compound Bow Case
Designed for hard use, whether by the airlines or bouncing in the bed of pickup. Well made and almost tailor made for my PSE. Locking mechanisms are solid, handles are stout and very functional. Internal dimensions allow for additional items to be stored of transported within.
Pros:

Cons:
- none noted

Well constructed, but HEAVY!!
It is an extremely well built product and I would definitely trust my bow to be safe in it. But it is quite heavy!! If your planning on moving around with it a lot I would maybe look at getting something a little lighter. If your looking to travel with your bow, I would definitely chose this case

skb I series 4217 Bow case
It is solid very well made and everything fits inside. It has wheels and moves around easily. the bow is secured by velcro straps and a dozen arrows fit in a space made for them in the bottom of the case. My Hoyt bow fits with the quiver on.
