Snug with stock extension - SKB Cases Hybrid Breakdown Shotgun Case 3409

Purchased case for a Ruger Red Label 12 GA that was long over due for a travel (truck) case. My Red Label has about 1-1/4 inch of rubber pad beyond the hard base plate on the stock. This made for a tight fit. If the heel is put in the case first, I can compress the pad enough to fit the stock in the case.
Well made, and nice interior. Much lighter than the other hard Browning cases I have. With fabric exterior, not worried about getting it nicked or grimy.
Others complained about the top not staying open and the case flopping back as items were removed, but I have no had those problems. Primary use is moving guns from safe at home to the trap range.
