Great product, but.... - SKB Cases Weather Resistant Single Rifle Case

My rifle has a large VX 6 Leupold scope mounted on it and it fits perfectly in this case. This case is very strong and well made. Competitors products can't compete with this case, but you get what you pay for as this case is a little pricey. My only complaint is the SKB folks put a 1400 dollar insurance placard on top of the case attaching it with sticky glue infused rubber buttons. These buttons apparently melted in the warehouse or tractor trailer and left a filthy unsightly residue on the case which was almost impossible to remove. I was going to return the case but my son in law sprayed the mess with WD-40 and amazingly the residue lifted and was removed. This is not Optics Planets fault, however they should advise SKB to use a different method to attach the placard.
