Love my mount! Works awesome. When nobody else had this mount in stock, OpticsPlanet had it, and with a discount. Shipping was fast. Mount arrived in 7 business days, in perfect conditions. I know there are a lot of negative reviews out there about OpticsPlanet, however, my experience buying from them was good. I couldn’t be happier with my HEQ5
Astrophotography Go-To Mount
This is a great heavy duty and stable go-to tracking mount. Solid but may be a bit heavy for remote locations if you need to carry it too far. It is capable of handling a rather large OTA. The go-to system is compatible with may other systems and programs like: NINA, PHD2, ASIAIR PRO, SKY SAFARI, to make a few. I highly recommend this mount.

Shipped without tripod
Terrified for a moment as the counterweights are included in the tripod box. After a couple of calls, customer service was able to correct. They found the mixing box and shipped it promptly, correcting the issue - thank you! Beautiful classic mount. Great for light to moderate weight OTAs.
