RobertB's Review of Sky Watcher Star Adventurer Latitude (EQ) Base

This is the perfect companion for the Sky Watcher Star Adventurer. The tripod head that I was using got in the way of the counterweight bar. This has no obstructions on the front. The alt-az adjustments work fine for a small mount and work perfectly for polar alignment.
Pros:
  • No front obstructions
  • Facilitates polar alignment
  • Carries small to medium load
  • Easy alt-az adjustments
Cons:
  • Alt lock is flimsy
Best Used for:
  • Sky Watcher Star Adventurer
