Very good magazines - Smith & Wesson 3008882 M&P Shield M2.0 380 Automatic Colt Pistol (ACP) 8 Rd Stee

I do not use "other brand" magazines in any of my guns. These factory magazines from S&W are very good. The only slightly negative thing about them is that the pull down lever on the side gets too hard for me to pull down after the first 4 rounds are inserted and I have to use my UpLula to finish loading all 8 rounds. This is nothing against the magazines. But for all the hype about the Shield .380 EZ being totally easy in every way for people with arthritis and other decreasing strength issues, it is a challenge.

I am aware that if the springs were not so tight the magazines wouldn't work properly. They are easy to insert without having to "crash" them in and they drop free very easily when the mag release is pushed. So they get the 5 stars.
