Most Helpful Positive Review The only way to reliably cycle minishells
Purchased the Opsol Mini Clip so I could cycle 1 3/4" mini-shells in my Mossberg 590 shockwave. This is my home defense firearm and I didn't want to wonder if the shells would cycle when I needed them both. So far I've fired several full mags of mini slugs, mini target load, and mini buck without any failures.

Mini Shell Config

Want to shoot mini shells out your 500 Mossberg or Maverick 88. This is what you need. It's a hard rubber material, so I would assume it will wear down over time. Time will tell. Thus far works perfect.

S&W Opsol block for using mini shotshells

The block is a simple rubber shape that fits into the loading well so that the shell lifter actually moves around the block. Mini shells feed reliably from the magazine tube onto the shell lifter with the block in place. The block stops the rearward travel of the mini shells, and keeps them from flipping over or standing upright on the lifter. I have it installed in a Mossberg Shockwave. Mini shotshells are fun to shoot in the Shockwave, and now I can count on reliable reloading.

Opsol Mini for Mossburg.

My 590 cycled the mini 12ga. rounds without the adapter. However, if you held the gun wrong (at even a small angle), it would mis-feed.
With this adaptor installed, ive had no issues feeding rounds.

1-3/4 Adapter

I installed this on my 590 Mossburg, and it worked perfectly. It's worth buying if you want to shoot "Shorty" 12ga. rounds.
I just wish they or someone made one of these for a Remington Express Magnum 870.
