Switch slides to lock on or presses to momentarily activate. If left in pocket or stored in bag, it's sure to activate, thereby draining the battery.
Pros: Handly, bright for the size
Cons: Switch is poorly designed

Very Bright, but...

The one drawback is the tiny switch. It would be much improved with a push-button switch instead of the cheap plastic slide switch. Otherwise, an excellent light! A very bright LED---will have to wait and see what kind of battery life. Great price under $6 !
Pros: Great value & lighting, compact size, dual mode switch
Cons: switch feels cheap/fragile
