Most Helpful Positive Review Great vault for the price
Needed a vault with easy access and that would fit behind a night stand and this one fits the bill. Easy to program and has adequate lighting of the keys. Seems to conceal nicely on the back of the stand and still allow good access. Install was about 30 minutes

Awesome Quick Safe, No Issues At All

Although I didn't purchase this item from Optics Planet, I did from a retailer almost 2 years ago. This item is very quick and responsive to present my handgun if needed...I have never had any issues with it failing to open (except when the batteries are getting low on power, which the keypad lights change to a different color to let you know the batteries are losing strength). I have mine mounted on the side of my bedside table. I open and close this drop-down every day of the year (closed when I'm not home, and open when I am) and have had absolutely NO failures. Solid built and has securely held several different 9mm pistols, from full size to subcompact. Battery compartment IS a tight squeeze to get into to replace batteries, but I'm not trying to win a race when I'm replacing them.

2 down and still not one I can use

My wife gave me this for Christmas. I just installed it and the first one would not take my programmed numbers. It would only open with the key. Second one programmed nicely but now won't lock. I may try one more because I have the bracket mounted but I'm not too impressed so far.
