Great little lock box

Well made for the price. Does everything I need it to do and made well enough that I am confident it will not easily be defeated if someone trying to access the contents. This is not some cheapo nor flimsy product and I plan to buy a few more for around the house. The cable / anchor option is a nice addition too.

2XL Hornady SnapSafe Combination Lock

Fits full-sized 45 ACP 1911 with 10-round extended magazine, with additional 2 10-round magazines. Easily fits Glock 19 with RMR and extra magazines.

The combination is a bit rough - it takes effort to turn the dials of the combination lock: self-examine the slide-locking mechanism to determine that the firearm and magazines do not obstruct the slide-lock mechanism. Adjust accordingly. Combination is easy to configure, according to enclosed instruction.

Great for use during travel. I'd recommend a key lock for home protection, instead, due to easier access. I use each box, accordingly.

Decent lock box

I got the XL, and it just fits my Ruger LCR and Springsfield XDS at the same time, just barely. Two larger firearms won’t fit. Might be a good option for a larger pistol and a couple mags. Foam layers are removable to adapt for thickness of the firearms. It is probably good to keep kids out for a short period or for legal compliance, but I didn’t purchase this for maximum security. The numbers are upside down compared to the photos, not a big deal to me.

Solid, heavy, well made

Good size for a handgun and a couple of magazines. This would at least slow down a professional burglar, and totally stop a casual thief. Would require some time and effort with tools to defeat. I bought 2, and I am glad I did. Easy to configure the combination you want with the enclosed instructions.
