Turns pink after just a month.
Granted I live in Florida. My safe is right next to the garage door. Which is hardly open and is under a/c. I have always used desiccant bags, large 500 grams size. We are talking 12 - 15 years and no issues. All of a sudden, my stainless steel .45 had some rust marks. So, I checked the safe's seal and bought this item as well as more desiccant bags. I also purchased a humidity gauge.
Product might work "under perfect conditions". Which I do not know what they are and I do not have. Thought of buying a second unit but might try a different approach. Stay tuned.

Easy to use. No wires. Keeps my gun safe much drier. And easy
to re-use when color changes. Just put in the oven until blue
color comes back. And it doesn't cost very much. I will have it
sent to my boys for their gun safes.
