Most Helpful Positive Review keeps my safe dry
I have had this for 9 months works great, recharge interval 60 to 90 days depending on how often I open the safe door, cord location for recharge is in a less than desirable spot, the bottom of unit, pellets change color from orange to (green indicates time to recharge).Used in a Stack on tactical safe.

Gets too hot

Gets too hot and now optical planet does not want to give me a refund. I just wanted to exchange it for another one and they will not. I wouldn’t recommend optical planet at all. If my house burns down I turn around and sue them. I guess way hot to the touch. Do not shop there and do not buy that product it’s dangerous.

Great item for yout safe

After receiving it and reading the directions I plugged it in to recharge the crystals. Put it in the safe and is working just great. So far I haven't had to recharge it. The cheaper model that I had needed recharged every 2 or 3 days.

drier gun safe

works as advertised desiccant changes color plug in to recharge, and I got a great deal buying it from Optics Planet (50 % less than the local discount sporting goods). I should have bought 2 then I probably wouldn't have to recharge as often.
