Not so great

You can unlock it by the combination but if you try to unlock it with the key you can't due to a design flaw with the inside latch. No idea how they didn't think of that. Not counting they didn't hide the hinge pins. Better off buy a Tupperware with a master lock. �

Secure and sturdy pistol case

I have yet to attempt air travel with this locked pistol case in my checked bags but I hope that it passes as a TSA compliant secure locking case. I found out that the plastic case that my Beretta Nano 9 mm did not. The airline counter agent said no dice and nearly caused me to miss my flight. I had to call a friend to drive 15 mi. to the airport at 5:30 a.m.to pick it up and hold it for me until I returned home. Incidentally, the TSA web does NOT list any brand name product that they consider compliant

  • Carrying small handguns securely
