I would assume the lock isn’t supposed to completely break after owning it only 2 months. Piece of garbage. Customer service guys first suggestion is to cut the door off so they can send a whole new door. Thanks for giving me a job

Super easy to move and assemble. I ordered the older model that you need a ratchet to assemble. It came with the ratchet and appropriate socket. It took me longer to unpack and move it than to assemble it. Got it together in about 30 minutes. Solid lockup, fit and finish was good.

I ordered the Ultra Titan via Amazon in December because they said it was in stock, as opposed to SnapSafe directly, who did not have any in stock and did not know when any would be available. It was promised to arrive in a month. Well, it never arrived and was still not available to ship within my requisite acceptance window; therefore, I was forced to cancel the order. This whole episode reminds me of the experience one suffers when dealing with a weekend retailer running a startup business out of his garage, who places his orders from his suppliers AFTER he receives the customer's check. That works as long as the supplier has it on the shelf, but the scheme falls apart if it's not. As you see, this scheme fell apart.

As for the customer service folks, they were helpful and kind; thus, I do NOT fault the employees. I simply fault the company's practice.

I selected this safe because I did not feel it was going to be possible to get a fully assembled safe around stairs and doorways to where I wanted to put it. This safe also has one of the better fire ratings which was also a nice feature of this safe. It arrived well packaged on a pallet and two of us were able to move the pieces to where I wanted to assemble it. Assembly was pretty easy although this safe does require two people for at least parts of the assembly process. It seems to be well made and it looks good and works fine. The door on this safe is the same size as for the smaller version of the safe so it doesn't provide the wide opening that some other safes have. This may limit a little bit what you can put on the shelves.

Delivery was great and on time! Well packed and took me a while to un-crate it. Yuo should have 2 persons to un-pack, move it to its place and for sure to assemble it! Luckily, I had my son in law here visiting so he helped. Without him, NO way I could put it together because the weight! It did fit perfect, everything did go together fine! The only thing I wish if the door would be bigger! They use the same door for all unit and it is only 14" wide... That gives some difficulty to load the rifles or shotguns without moving some at each time... Also, they should make a 6' tall unit as well. Otherwise it is great. The company was sold to Hornady and had to wait about 8 weeks for delivery. But that should be over now. I would recommend this safe because it's mobility... You can move it fairly ease when you move.
