My buddy has a Vortex Viper scope. We did a side by side comparison and the overall function and clarity are identical. The only thing we see that is a slight draw back is the eye relief on the scope but it is not a major drawback. Overall this scope did great, we shot over 100 rounds thru the rifle and the scope work wonderfully. Highly recommend this scope.
