Great wrench
I bought a new stock and needed a castle nut wrench. I searched around and a lot of these type of wrenches had all sorts of extra things they could do, at a hefty additional price. This is a no frills wrench that tightens and loosens the castle nut effectively, without the cost. Got another great de...

Cheap , poor quality
Flimsier than expected. Even though it was cheap it should still work. Tip broke off first time I used it. Had to go to Palmetto to get a real tool. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money for a quality made piece.
Castle Nut Tool
This tool is great. Good quality for a fair price & essential for completing the AR15 lower to tighten the Castle Nut to proper specs
Best Used for:
- Castle nut install & removal AR15

Solid item
Looks, and performs as should. At this price point I bought a couple and put them in a couple different places.

Cant beat for the price!
For as cheap as this cost, it holds up pretty well. Even though I torque my castle nut, I’ve been shooting and throwing a lot of ammo down range and had a castle nut loosen. This helps give it a quick tighten to get back at it and small and fits in the gun bag nicely. Recommend.
Best Used for:
- Tightening and unloosing

Simple cost effective tool
It gets the job done! I first bought a different Sniper brand combo tool but it didn't properly fit on the nut. This one fits snugly. It is very short so it doesn't allow for a lot of leverage. I'm happy with the price.

Castle nut wrench
It's a pretty useful tool but it's missing the rubber sleeve of some kind over the handle. The handle itself could also be a little bit longer for better grip and torque. Other then that the tool is very handy and useful.

Cheaply made
This product isn’t made strong enough to handle the amount of torque required to break a AR castle nut loose. The handlebent sideways on the first try and after straightening it I tried again and the part of the tool that fits into castle nut slot snapped off. Had around $20 in the tool and shipping.
Pros:
- None
Cons:
- Cheaply made

I'm afraid to use this
Currently oiling the rim of the castle nut in hopes some gets down in the threads as I am afraid using any force with this wrench. If that doesn't work, there's WD40. There's not much of a notch on the nut for this to grip on, but the entire wrench is roughly 1/16" thick, and if I can remove the castle nut with it, I will likely look for a modern replacement for the nut itself. Anyway this is the only wrench I have seen made for this style of castle nut, so I went with it. But I'm hoping the wrench doesn't just snap the next time I try. There wasn't even any padding to the packaging, so I'm surprised the arc at the end survived the trip.
Pros:
- Cheap
Cons:
- Cheap
Best Used for:
- Last resort
