I have an AR-15 upper receiver with a bull barrel (.936 diameter at the gas port). Not sure if it makes a difference, but my barrel is not chambered in 5.56x45mm or .223 Rem. I recently bought a slim handguard, and as a result, I found that I needed to get a narrower (low profile) gas block. I was originally going to get a much more expensive gas block, but at the last minute I decided to buy this Sniper .936 Low Profile gas block. I wanted to see if something this inexpensive would work, and at this price I figured I didn't have much to lose. Bottom line is this gas block works for me. So far it has done everything I expected it to do, and I've had no issues at all. There's really nothing remarkable about this gas block, it works as advertised (for me)...except the fact that it's so inexpensive compared to other gas blocks on the market. Not sure how it'll do in the long run - maybe it'll malfunction tomorrow or next year, who knows. But at least for now, I'm very happy with this purchase.

Great price for a steel gas block with a pin. The gas block fit and functions great so far. However, I had to replace both set screws. The set screws stripped at the head preventing proper tightening.
