Solid Knife from SOG
Really like the S35 Steel at this price point. The knife came with a pretty stiff detent out of the box. I've read this on several internet reviews. I loosened the pivot, applied some Blue knife lube and opened and closed the knife hundreds of times. Eventually the knife loosed up some and is now much easier to open. I tightened the pivot back up a little to the point where the blade has no movement when locked up and it's working fine. It's easier to open with the flipper than it is with the thumb stud - but both have improved quite a bit. The blade is sharp - the knife looks great and feels good in your hand. I would have given this knife 5 stars if I didn't have to go through the break in process. The clip is also a little too tight.
