The Solo cooking system works wonderfully. You can use different types of wood to cook on. The fruitwood flavors are the best along with good old fashioned Hickory. You can also get charcoal wood to use to cook over. But this item they have advertised is not the complete cooker. Its just the top that you would put your food on. You still need to by the bottom portion that you put your wood in, the fire pit, which is another $400-$500 more. You cannot use the top cooking accessory on sale here without buying the bottom portion which is the fire pit. You can also use it for heat outdoors. So when your done cooking on it you still have fire and coals for heat.
