Most Helpful Positive Review excellent barrels for an AR-Pistol build.
I solely use SOLGW for all of my builds. They are dimpled, reliable, accurate, good reputation, and carry a lifetime warranty. What else is there not to like.

SOLGW for life

by Thomas J, Verified Owner from MI, United States Written on April 9, 2025
Picked up this barrel for my new "Apocalypse Rifle" build. If you're looking for something lightweight, then this isn't the barrel for you, as this 14.5" weighs almost as much as a 16" government profile barrel. However, the weight is shifted to the rear, making for a more balanced overall feel. It also offers more chamber support and less POI shift when suppressed. It's also backed by Sons of Liberty's legendary quality control and customer service.
Pros:
  • Innovative design
  • Top tier quality
Cons:
  • Heavy
Best Used for:
  • Bomb-Proof Rifle Builds
  • Duty Rifle Builds

Spend the coin and get a Criterion Core

by DAMOND, Verified Owner from VA, United States Written on March 30, 2025
Zeroing at 50yds with factory ball such as PMC Bronze, PSA 5.56, and Hornady FMJ. I was only able to get 4" horizontal groups. While my Core 13.9" build with same ammo was getting keyhole. I can't imagine what the group will look like at 100.
Pros:
  • None
Cons:
  • accuracy

Good Balance and Accuracy

by Madison Boss, Verified Owner from UT, United States Written on October 28, 2024
Balances well with a suppressor. I installed it into a BCM upper receiver with a SOLGW BCG. With a milspec trigger and a 3x optic, I got 3 MOA groups out of the several types of ammunition. I suspect the barrel is mechanically capable of 2 MOA (or better) with the right ammunition. This barrel is noticeably more accurate than my 16” BCM BFH enhanced lightweight barrel.
