Had the money so decided to pick this up as it was a great price and needed to invest in good body armor. Came really fast and is good quality. This being my first plate carrier system I wasn't sure what to expect. The cons for me in my opinion is the system is extremely heavy and difficult to put on in any quick way. There's very little real estate to attach any pouches other than a mag pouch and a first aid kit so if I need to use this I'll simply put on a condor chest rig over the whole carrier. I'm not criticizing the company as they have done their research and know what they are doing. There is a lot of exposed area while wearing the armor and I'm not a big guy either. I got the swimmers cut which has less material so I should accept that. I wear soft body armor everyday for work and it's so much coverage compared to the plate carrier but I understand it's a completely different system so any cons are just my opinion.just do a lot of research before purchasing to see if it's for you.

This review is for the swimmer's cut option. I put a triple rifle mag carrier, elastic cummerbund, admin pouch, and medical dangler pouch on this thing. Worn it to the range for over a year now, and it's held up well. There's some fraying at the stitching, but nothing too severe. I would highly recommend buying an elastic cummerbund to help tighten it. Don't bother with the side plates, but that's my personal opinion.

If you're a regular guy who wants something that works well and you can train with, this is for you.
