Most Helpful Positive Review It's OK
It meets my expecations, it does hold a fully loaded magazine, but it does add bulk and extra weight. If you are thinking of purchasing this you really need to feel it on your rifle before you can form an opinion of whether you like it or not. The product itself is excellent quality. Pros: Carrying an extra magazine Cons: Adds weight, Adds bulk, not for left handed shooters

Rugged and Functional

by Legacy Reviewer, from WA, United States Written on February 25, 2012
On your AR15/M4 carbine, need to have your adjustable stocks fully or nearly at full extention in order for the charging handle to fully retract. Critical funtion for clearing and reloading.
Pros: Well Designed,
Cons: Limits ability to shorten stock

Good on Vltor stock and Sage stock

by Hawk, from KY, United States Written on January 22, 2011
I was looking for a product to carry an extra mag on my RobArm XCR. Since they don't make a Redi-Mag that fits it I went with this. First of all, I love this product. It took me a while, but I got the M4 model to fit my Vltor E-Mod stock, even with both battery compartments on. It will fit a Magpul P mag with a Magpul on it. The AR-10 model worked on my Sage Telescoping stock on my M14 with no issues at all. The only con I can think of is it's a little difficult to get to when you need to change a mag, but with a little training I'm sure the process could be quicker.
Pros: Versatile, Holds wide variety of mags
Cons: Bulky, Adds weight to rear of gun
Would recommend: Yes

Coyote Brown Buttstock Pouch on a FAL/L1A1

by pew pew, Verified Owner from ID, United States Written on January 19, 2011
I bought this in Coyote Brown for a FAL/L1A1 and paired it with Spec-Ops Patrol Sling. Color is very nice - not too brown, not too tan. Very good quality of construction. Easy to install, and moves your sling attachment to the top of the stock for a patrol sling (2 point). Holds a 20-rd mag securely yet easy to access. My only two complaints are the added weight/bulk (what do you expect, attaching a second mag to the stock?!?) and the length of the forward attachment strap - too long for a FAL, but the excess can be trimmed off or tucked into the pouch. Overall, highly recommend.
Pros: Well built, good color, fits nicely, good sling attachment
Cons: Adds bulk & weight to the stock
Would recommend: Yes
