Outstanding pack
I was just recommending this pack to a friend and I figured OP would have reviews I could show him as well - and to my surprise - this pack had none.
I have had this backpack in CB since 2007. As of this review, 13 years in total, four years active duty, two deployments and used daily by me for everything. Through my deployments, and years active duty in the infantry, I never used my assault pack because this was frankly better in every way. I regularly had this stuffed to the brim with munitions (the bomb dogs love to sniff my pack), usually exceeding 70+ lbs of gear and hauled this pack tho...

Purchased from BIAP 2004
My first real buy when I joined in '03. It's been with me ever since. It's come up in price a ton but this thing has seen some terrible conditions and came out in one piece. I added a piece of thermoplastic from a binder a long time ago to stiffen the back as it can lose form pretty quick as it's well worn, but I'd chalk that up to me brutalizing it in general. If their quality hasn't changed, this is the last assault pack you'll be buying for a few decades.

heavy duty
These packs are very well built. Use it for camping edc luggage boat bag. Not waterproof but haven’t had anything get wet inside during hard rains. Main reason I purchased was they are made in the USA and reasonably priced.
