I normally purchase Hornady bullets almost exclusively for hunting and target reloads. Ive used Speers Gold Dot ammo and know it to be a proven self defense round so i decided to try these for 243win and white tail deer. They loaded just fine with Varget powder and was able to get 1in groups at 100yds with a Savage Axis II. Rifle season open here soon and will test them on some game.
