These are great bullets for the 223. They are uniform, accurate, and fragment properly at high velocities. At lower terminal velocity (<1800 fps), they make a respectable small game bullet. This is my second box of 1000 for my 223 and I'm sure I'll be shooting even more in the future. However, be careful what shipping you choose. Between the UPS handling and the USPS last mile delivery, I received a crushed cardboard box with 1000 loose bullets and a shattered plastic box. Good thing the bullets are pretty indestructible, but if the cardboard box had ruptured, I would have lost most of my bullets. Optics planet could have done a much better job at packaging. There was no cushioning in the cardboard box. I wonder what happened.
