Most Helpful Positive Review This was a surprising buy in a good way.
Light weight, decent accuracy and I wouldn’t knock in on lack of dimples, You can use a clamp on, or dimple it yourself with a jig. This one is on my lightest firearm and performs. I used it for a class and was pleasantly surprised. I brought a backup but did not need it.
Most Helpful Negative Review No Dimples Anymore
Have an older one of these I love and ordered another for a new build. Old barrels have dimples for gas block, but current model does not. Would have gone with a different barrel had I known about the change.

Excellent Quality CHF 11.5" AR Pistol Barrel

I purchased three of these for upcoming AR pistols builds I am currently working on. These are HD ARs so I wanted something better than the cheap nitride finished examples ever so popular today. These are cold hammer forged and chrome lined which hold up better under high volumes of sustained and rapid fire. I also bought the matching Spikes adjustable gas blocks to go with them so I can custom tune them to run the kind of ammo I am using in them most of the time. I'm still working on the builds but know FN/Spikes won't disappoint when the time comes. I am very happy with the purchase and the sale price I got them for.

Great barrel

These are made by FN are very well made, chrome lined barrels. I knocked one star off because the non FSB barrels no longer come dimpled it seems. I have one of these barrels from a few years ago and they would have one dimple below the gas port pre drilled for the gas block. Other then that, it’s a very good barrel if you are looking for one that will last tens of thousands of rounds.
