Couldn’t Get Easier
I bought the Spikes tactical Delta ring assembly for a recent carbine build. I was sticking to a budget as I wanted to use a drop in DD Omega rail I had, and other spare parts I had picked up over time. First off, you can’t beat the price for a FULLY ASSEMBLED delta ring “kit”, especially from a well known company like Spikes Tactical. Delta ring assembly and handguard cap

nice quality- solid part
I ordered this for a 300 Blackout build and this was the final piece. No frills or pomp; just a quality part. Be sure to have a decent armorers wrench handy, so that you don’t round out the teeth. Cheers.

Ordinary and average
Standard mil spec delta ring assembly. If you’re buying this, don’t forget the hand guard end cap. Really easy to install, looks just like any other mil spec delta ring assembly. Always remember to grease your barrel nut and it doesn’t hurt to grease the knock of the barrel either, you’ll thank me when you decide to swap barrels.

poor quality or bad batch?
Ordered one for a carbine length piston build using a Aero upper & MI handguard and torquing it down I had wrench set a 30lbs with a magpul attachement and at 30lbs it was slightly off and wouldn't allow piston rod to pass through.
Set wrench for 35lb and didnt even hit it when I thought it "slipped".
Repositioned it tried again and it continued to "Slip" multiple times and still piston rod wasnt able to pass without resistance.
Upon further examining i decided to abandon project because the slots has broke in multiple places and I couldnt ever get the piston rod to pass without resistance.
Set wrench for 35lb and didnt even hit it when I thought it "slipped".
Repositioned it tried again and it continued to "Slip" multiple times and still piston rod wasnt able to pass without resistance.
Upon further examining i decided to abandon project because the slots has broke in multiple places and I couldnt ever get the piston rod to pass without resistance.

Spikes Delta Ring
Good Mil-Sec product. Better feel than other cheaper brands. Spikes has done a great job of creating solid parts and this one is just as good. The fitment on to the upper receiver went just as expected for an Ar-15

Great Product
The Spikes tactical delta ring assembly is great! It installed easily and holds up to all of the abuse that I subject my rifle to. I would definitely recommend this assembly for years and years of durability.

Nice Barrel Nut
Very Nice Barrel nut kit. I liked it was pre assembled just intall the barrel into de upper set the nut and all done. I installed it on a Trybe stripped upper and it was perfect fit. It was very smooth no roughness or resistance. I thight it to 40 ft pound of torque and all good. Very happy quality piece of equipment. I wanted magpul handguard so this was the right nut.

Perfect fit
We wanted to take care of the whole assembly rather than put together the individual parts. The Delta Ring Assembly was just the right fit for our needs. No problems with the fit. Worked on the first attempt. Good quality and good price.

Tough installation but looks good
This item was a complicated installation for me. Had a hard time aligning the barrel nut notch with the gas tube entry port on the upper receiver. I wasn't using the specific tool designed for attaching barrel nuts, it is possible that was the error but even in a vice block with channel lock pliers I couldn't get the notch aligned without using a large amount of force. Managed to get in aligned in the end, and works fine. Maybe it was just my experience, but something to consider when building an AR platform.

Spike always top quality
Spike tactical always top quality the spring much stronger then typical Mil-Spec the cap has great finish knurled edges and smooth but great grip and barrel NUT is top quality very smooth well finished threads torqued Down smooth and been holding several heat cycles now
