Receiver end plate
It's a receiver end plate, it has a matte finish, it goes on the receiver tube and keeps it from moving as it should and springs from coming out that shouldn't. Basically it does what it's supposed to do.
Good price decent quality overall
Good price decent quality does have some tooling marks around the edges from whatever machine they pressed it out on. If you don't mind that this is right up your alley.

No need to spend more
There's really no need to spend more money than you have to on a basic component like this for your AR build (especially if it's a budget build). Spikes Tactical makes good stuff. Yeah, I know there are higher quality (and more expensive) products out there, but this works fine for me.

Good Product
I used this Spikes Tactical Mil-Spec Latch Plate in my latest AR build. I've had no trouble with it, and it works as it is supposed to. I see no need to spend more if you don't have to. Would buy again.

For the price this latch plate gets the job done for you at a very reasonable price you will not break the bank on them and are quality for what they are. .

Must have item
This is a must have item to complete your build. It is held but the castle nut, so make sure you remember to order the nut from the castle as it is an integral part to make your build go pew pew pew pew
