This is not an aluminum gun case it has fallen apart in less then a year not worth it and no warenty on the product super disappointed and would not recommend this product. Painted cardboard is what it is really made of super poor quality

I have owned numerous Hard Rifle Cases to protect my weapons over the past 35 years. The quality construction of this case, for the price, exceeded anything for secure weapon protection. It can take a beating, and come out completely operational and structurally sound. I highly recommend this Tactical Case.

Bought this to ship a rifle to a gunsmith in another state; turns out to be a great storage and carrying case for one or two rifles. The case is well thought out with lid gaskets, metal framing and ridged black PVC panels. Locks and latches are heavey duty, and not Mickey Mouse type that will pull apart or bend if you don't get everything lines up right. The egg crate foam is high quality and sized just right to give your rifle a gentle squeeze to hold it in place even if bumped or dropped (baggage handlers never do that). Only downside for me is I'm only shipping my 1910 Type M Mauser to the gunsmith and I'll be shipping a lot of empty space along with it. I would love it if they had a case built just like this but maybe 30-40% smaller, so it would be a great single gun only case, with a little extra room. Other than the size being a little too big for my personal needs it is a great, ridge case at a really good price.
