My review is based on 2 years of owning and using the Spot Hogg sight light. I like the adjustable intensity and the price was good, but that's where the positives stop. The on-off switch is a dismal design and too easy to turn on; ergo, I have spent more on batteries than the unit itself. Even taped the knob after putting in fresh batteries and still ran down while sitting undisturbed in a vault--very annoying and not the quality expected from Spott Hogg. A positive push button would enhance me to buy or recommend, but until that happens I would advise buyers to look elsewhere.

Works well
The light is white, wished it had a blue tint. 3 settings all work. I prefer the lowest. Slight click sound when turning it off and on, deer might be able to hear it. Hour long session at the range, helped me improve 40 yd groups
